Oh, What a Night!

On Saturday, June 22, 2024, in Edmonton, AB, our Founder, Kat Mooney, and one of her best friends from Montreal, Diane Baron, attended the Fierce, Fabulous & Beautiful Gala.  The creator of this fantastic, one-of-a-kind event was Irene Lay, who captured the inner beauty of women in picture format

Kat was one of the 40 special women who participated in Irene Lay’s “40 Over 40 Portrait Experience.”

As Irene shares, “The project tells the stories of 40 women over the age of 40 and to start a conversation around the beauty of aging and change the way the world sees and hears mature women.”

Each woman who shared in this experience was asked to make a minimum donation of $150 for the silent auction, as all of the proceeds were given to Wings (Women In Need Growing Stronger), an Edmonton shelter supporting women and children fleeing domestic abuse.
